Kat Barr is a visual artist living and working in Montreal. They graduated with a BFA from Concordia University, majoring in Painting and Drawing. Barr has exhibited in group shows at Espace Transmission, Atelier Galerie 2112, Galerie SKOL, among others. Barr explores the physical and the implied body in their practice. In a collaboration with natural material, form takes shape where the surface pulls pigment and the artist's hand falters. Their practice investigates the labour of touch and value of the handmade.
